For Ministers
Why Join the FCA?

Here are the ways the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies can help you fulfill your calling.

  1. Increased ministry impact. Your mission will be enhanced through the synergy of working together with other like-minded ministers and churches, each member having endorsed the Statement of Common Beliefs.

  2. Expanded ministry network. You’ll be recognized in an international listing of ministers, churches, missionaries, and affiliated organizations. You’ll be able to contact others through this international directory. The directory is available in both print and digital formats (including a members-only searchable website and PDA files).

  3. Access to ministry tools. Strengthen your ministry by tapping into practical resources available through cooperative FCA projects. Select any or all of the following:

    • International, national, and regional FCA conventions for teaching, inspiration, and spiritual renewal.

    • Pastoral cluster meetings in your area to fellowship and network with pastors. Share from your mutual wealth of experience and insight.

    • Access to FCA-owned and -operated regional campgrounds and retreat centers. Participate with other FCA churches in camping programs and ministries.

    • The FCA’s website www.FCAchurches.net offers a uniquely Pentecostal and charismatic perspective with practical ministry tools and information, leadership resources, and Spirit-filled insights. Free access is available for your lay leaders and ministry team to benefit from this professionally edited site.

    • The www.FCAchurches.net site also provides a members-only area to connect with others in our online directory. Features also include a private postings of ministry openings, a way to dialogue about pastoral concerns, dates of upcoming events, and an online directory of FCA ministers and churches.

    • Tap into the creative energies of others in the Fellowship (and share your own) in the Sermon Illustration area of www.FCAchurches.net.

    • FCANET—a free internet email list of all U.S. members. This provides an easy way to connect directly with ministry colleagues to ask for advice, exchange information and experiences, or comment on current issues.

    • Ministry training for your church members who choose to connect with FCA Bible colleges, discipleship schools, correspondence classes, and ministry apprentice programs or training centers.

    • A church-planting symposium held occasionally to offer personalized advice and assistance on church planting—from FCA church growth specialists in conjunction with a panel of FCA church planters.

  4. Standardized certificates of ministry. Government agencies or private institutions often require forms that authenticate your role as a minister to conduct weddings, to visit prisons or hospitals, or to serve as a military chaplain. The FCA provides churches with standardized forms recognizing three levels of ministry: Christian Worker Certificate; License to Preach; Ordained Minister.

  5. Resolve internal church problems. You can call for help with conflict mediation. The FCA Fellowship Coordinator (or other leaders or ministers gifted in reconciliation) stand ready to function in a pastoral or advisory role to churches and ministers dealing with intractable disputes.

  6. Find new staff; find new positions. When your church is looking for a qualified minister--or when you as a pastor want to find a place to serve--you can call the FCA Fellowship Coordinator or regional representatives to the National Board for confidential referrals. Also, the members-only area of this website provides a secure place for you to post your ministry needs or goals on the Internet.
